Begun in 1999, El Encuentro is the longest running milonga in Southern California for a good reason. It embodies the true spirit of Argentine tango in its warmth and attention to detail which are aimed at giving you a memorable night of tango. The dance floor of El Encuentro's home, The Tango Room, is undoubtedly the best in town. The hosts, Angel & Julie, greet everyone in the traditional Argentine way - with an embrace and a kiss. They also provide a delicious dancers buffet. The DJ's always play the best of the Golden Era of tango. And, a rarity in L.A., there's plenty of free parking!!

Parking in front of and behind the studio. You can double-park in the south lot (closest to Ventura Blvd) and come into the studio to get a sign to put on your dashboard to let the other driver know you are in The Tango Room.
